1Introduction

Welcome to Evresio Inc. Cyprus Job Portal ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our job portal platform, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through our website.

By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the platform.

2Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the platform.

3User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of our platform, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

Our platform uses Google OAuth and Microsoft OAuth for authentication. There are no platform-managed passwords. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google or Microsoft account and for all activities that occur under your linked Evresio account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected] and update your Google or Microsoft account credentials. We will never ask for your password.

3.3 Account Types

Our platform offers different account types: Candidate accounts for job seekers and Employer accounts for companies posting jobs. Each account type has specific rights and responsibilities as outlined in these Terms.

4Employer Responsibilities

4.1 Job Postings

Employers must ensure that all job postings are accurate, lawful, and comply with all applicable Cyprus employment laws and regulations, including the Equal Treatment in Employment and Occupation Laws. Job postings must not contain discriminatory content based on age, gender, race, nationality, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.

4.2 Business Verification

All business profiles are subject to verification by our administrators. Employers must provide truthful and accurate information about their company. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or suspend business profiles at our discretion. Providing false business information may result in immediate account termination and referral to relevant authorities.

5Candidate Responsibilities

Candidates must provide accurate and truthful information in their profiles and job applications. You are responsible for the content you submit, including resumes, cover letters, and any other application materials. Providing false information in a job application may constitute fraud and could have legal consequences under Cyprus law.

6Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or applications
  • Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against other users
  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other users' accounts
  • Uploading viruses, malware, or any other harmful code
  • Scraping or using automated tools to collect data from the platform without authorisation
  • Posting spam or unsolicited advertisements
  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations, including GDPR and Cyprus data protection laws

7Intellectual Property Rights

The platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Evresio Inc. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our platform or its content without our prior written consent.

8User Content

You retain all rights to the content you submit to the platform. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display such content solely for the purpose of operating the platform and delivering the services you have requested. This includes displaying your job postings to candidates, transmitting your application materials to employers you apply to, and rendering your profile as configured by your visibility settings. We will not use your content in marketing materials or external promotions without your separate explicit consent.

9Privacy

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Please review these documents to understand our practices regarding the collection, use, and protection of your personal information.

10Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease. You may also request account deletion at any time by contacting us at [email protected] — we will process your request in accordance with our data retention policy.

11Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Evresio Inc., nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the platform. Our total liability to you for any direct losses shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12Disclaimer

Your use of the platform is at your sole risk. The platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the platform's operation or the information, content, or materials included on the platform. We do not guarantee that job listings are accurate, that employers are legitimate, or that any application will result in employment. Candidates and employers are independently responsible for verifying information and conducting appropriate due diligence.

13Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Cyprus, including the Cyprus Contract Law (Cap. 149) and applicable EU legislation, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus, without prejudice to the dispute resolution process in Section 16.

14Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect, via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

16Dispute Resolution and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith through direct communication. Either party may request mediation through a Cyprus-registered mediator or through the Cyprus Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanism available under EU Directive 2013/11/EU on consumer ADR.

If direct negotiation fails, either party may submit the dispute to mediation. If mediation does not resolve the dispute within 60 days of initiation, either party may proceed to the courts of Cyprus as specified in Section 13. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent interim relief from a court where necessary.

17Force Majeure

Evresio Inc. shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, government actions or restrictions, power or internet outages, pandemic or epidemic, civil unrest, cyberattacks on third-party infrastructure, or acts of third parties. In such circumstances, we will use reasonable endeavours to minimise the impact on our services and resume normal operations as soon as practicable.

18Data Processing — Employer Obligations

By using our platform as an Employer, you acknowledge that when you receive candidate personal data (including names, contact details, resumes, and cover letters) through our platform, you become an independent data controller in respect of that candidate data under GDPR Article 4(7).

As a data controller, you agree to:

  • Process candidate personal data only for the legitimate purpose of evaluating job applications submitted through our platform
  • Comply with all applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR and Cyprus Data Protection Law (Law 125(I)/2018)
  • Implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect candidate data
  • Retain candidate data only as long as necessary for the recruitment process, and delete it securely thereafter
  • Not transfer candidate personal data to third parties without the candidate's knowledge and consent, or a lawful basis under GDPR
  • Respond to data subject access requests from candidates in relation to data you hold

Evresio Inc. acts as a data processor in facilitating the transmission of application data from candidates to employers, in accordance with GDPR Article 28. Our processing is governed by our Privacy Policy and the terms of our platform agreement. Any breach of these data processing obligations may result in account termination and may expose the employer to liability under applicable data protection laws.
